Business of Soul

An Invitation

Every day we are entrusted with things that matter.

Time.
Relationships.
Opportunity.
Resources.
Responsibility.

Most of us spend our lives learning how to build careers, businesses, wealth, and influence.

Few of us are taught how to faithfully steward what has been entrusted to us.

Business of Soul exists to explore that question.

Hashem entrusts.
We steward.

Business of Soul is an institution devoted to the philosophy of faithful stewardship.

It exists to preserve, develop, and share a body of work that explores what it means to faithfully steward everything (G-d; literally "The Name" — the way G-d is referred to in reverence.) entrusts to us.

The Foundation

Every enduring institution begins with first principles.
Business of Soul begins with five foundational documents.

  1. I
    The Covenant

The promise from which the philosophy begins.

  2. II
    The Constitution

The enduring principles that give the philosophy its form.

  3. III
    The Manifesto

The convictions we hold, and the reasons we hold them.

  4. IV
    The Mission

The work we have been entrusted to carry out.

  5. V
The Language of Business of Soul

The vocabulary through which the philosophy is spoken and understood.

The Founder

Boruch “Meyer” Greenbaum is the founder of Business of Soul. A businessman, investor, and communal leader, he established the institution to give lasting form to a way of living and working he did not invent but has long felt answerable to. He regards Business of Soul as a body of work held in trust — a philosophy larger than himself, whose care and continuity are the responsibility he has accepted.
